In recent months, the board has corresponded with some owners hosting camping on their lots – from organized groups with permanent platforms and temporary plumbing to Airbnb rentals offering camping with access to the community dock.
In order to be fair to owners with fully visible lots, the covenant was also loosened to allow approved vehicles to be visible from community roads.
In order to protect the residential nature of The Enclave, the HOA board proposes limiting camping to seven days maximum and to guests only when owners are present. Campers and/or RVs face proposed additional restrictions – available for download here.
