HOA Board nudges annual dues 3% to meet 2022 budget

by The 100 Companies

The Enclave HOA board approved a 3% – or $20 – annual increase in membership dues. This month, owners of each lot are being sent $670 invoices, which can be paid on our online portal.

The board weighed its desire to control owners’ costs with increasing expenses and its need to present owners with a balanced budget at January’s annual meeting.

Empire South Realty advised the board that an HOA the size of The Enclave should begin building capital reserves to adequately manage projected road maintenance, stormwater systems and common area improvements, as well as potential legal fees associated with covenant enforcement.
