Some Enclave residents reported to the board this summer there were repairs needed to our community dock. Some boards were rotting and it seems some damage occurred during an attempted installation of a boat lift in one of the slips.
There are 10 slips at the dock and eight are owned by Enclave lot owners. The two outside slips are available for limited-time docking by Enclave owners and guests.
Board member Amy Surrett took matters into her own hands – literally – and put up temporary warning tape while the board determines a long-term solution, including having to coordinate with Duke Energy.
