Enclave owners who purchased lots before September 2023 will be grandfathered into the original 2019 Covenants, but some provisions in the new amendments will be adopted for all. One example is lowering the 75% voting threshold for making changes to the Covenants to state-mandated 67%.
Other provisions in the new Covenants may be brought up for a community vote this Fall after more community discussion.
The Board did agree to take a firmer hand on matters, such as prohibiting porta-johns outside the one-year home-construction window, ensuring when camping is allowed anywhere, sanitation plans are submitted and owners are present on-site.
