I don’t remember seeing this many rabbits in past years, but a morning or evening walk in The Enclave these days reveals bunnies nibbling grasses on all three streets. It seems to be a banner year for bunnies.
Some of them run when a car or person passes. Others sit still. That wouldn’t work well with their natural predators: foxes, dogs, cats, weasels and birds or prey – of which we have many – such as eagles, hawks and buzzards.
If the bunnies make it to October 16, then they’ll have to contend with hunters through February – hopefully not in The Enclave.
