HOA Board committee to recommend new rental policies

by The 100 Companies

As more homes in The Enclave are being enrolled in short-term rental plans such as Airbnb, the Board is considering recommendations on policies to maintain order and security.

The State of North Carolina has installed short-term rental regulations in recent years. Counties are also considering new policies.

A slate of recommended policies, currently under review by Board member and STR committee chair Liz Todd, will be presented to the Enclave owners in coming months. If there’s no pushback, the new policies will be incorporated into neighborhood regulations. If there is opposition, the new regulations will be submitted to community vote.
