Front exit gate causes occasional frustration

by The 100 Companies

The Enclave’s front exit gate was malfunctioning this spring, so BOD President Eric LaPrad spent time dismantling the motor and inserting new batteries. This repair should last a few years.

Occasionally, particularly if drivers do not approach the exit gate far enough on the right side, the gate will not open. The easy remedy is to back up, re-approach the gate, moving closer to the right — or park, walk to the entrance keypad, type in the code and exit on that side.

This month, someone wasn’t patient enough and drove up the hill, around the gate. The board fixed that.
