Also discussed at the January 2024 annual meeting was the Declarant’s 2022 amendment, assigning a private two-slip dock to the HOA. That dock requires repair and is included in this year’s one-time assessment for dock repairs.
Lot owners suggested the HOA vote on two new amendments reducing the HOA liability, returning the private dock to its owner and forming a separate account for the larger dock that will be funded by its eight slip owners, as well as 20% subsidy from the HOA, which owns two community slips.
That vote, requiring a 67% vote to approve, is planned for January 2025.
